Synopsis

No matter how you look at him, Shibata Taketora is just a quiet, ordinary junior high student. He looks so vulnerable that bullies try to rip him off on the streets, but he is actually a police detective and an expert swordsman in kendo. Shibatora SP (2009)

Synopsis

A new treat from the new Onigami occurs make the chaos to the Police Department. Moreover, the new Onigami wanted Hosho Mizuki (Ohgo Sizuka) who was arrested in juvenile detention center to be released and obey all the treat from them including bus hijacking. What will Shibata Taketora (Koike Teppei) do to help and save his friend and can he reveal who is the culprit and what is the agenda?

Shibatora SP 2 (2010)

Synopsis

Shibata Taketora (Koike Teppei) goes to meet Hosho Mizuki (Ogho Mizuki) who was arrested in a juvenile detention center and she is scheduled to be released a week later. Meanwhile, a bomb attack using a distinctive time bomb occurs and many people are killed and wounded. Shibata is partnered with the Assistant Inspector Kirino Yayoi (Kato Ai) from the First Investigation Division of the prefectural police to investigate the case. A prisoner called Igarashi Gento (Mizobata Junpei) emerges as a suspect based on the types of the bomb used. However, he claims that someone is trying to frame him and says he will shows the evidence. Shibata, who is the only person to believe Igarashi’s word, take him out and runs away…

Review

A first lead role Drama of Koike Teppei and I think this Drama are quite interesting  ~ among my favorite Drama. Even though each episodes in the Drama reveal the different story and problem but actually each episodes has its connection with some surprises in the end of the Drama. The SPs of the Drama also has an interesting story line and I really like the overall story of this Drama.

The selection of Koike Teppei as the lead role in the Drama is something that is accurate based on the Manga, a baby-face, timid  and for me Teppei has made its good effort in playing this role. Even though he is not good enough but he drive himself to be good and I feel that his acting become more and better especially in Shibatora SP 2. I really like his expression and role in there.

Oh I wish they will continuance this Drama. I want to see Tora-chan more!!
